Band identity Assignment

My assignment brief is to create a band image. I am required to focus on producing, branding and marketing material needed to make a band successful.  i have to research existing band images that inspire me and take inspiration from their work to help me create my work. I am required to create posters , flyers , a website , a promotional video and photographs . On this blog i must record my process , research and evaluation for ever piece of work i create.




Our brief is to respond to the requires to produce the Banding, advertising and marketing 
material for a band of any musical genre of our choice. 
We must include:
*Website
*Promo Video
*Photographs

This will include graphic design and photography that can for the basis of our advertising 
and marketing. Alongside this is we are required to produce a promo video to accompany
 this. Finally we are required to design and launch a website to market the band

Stages
*Concept and Design Process. 
Where both Graphic Designer and Photographer work together in groups. Here the 'Banding 
and marketing concepts' will be discussed. Also the Graphic Designer and Photographer 
have to be able to work alongside each other and fit to the brief. This stage is also 
underpinned with extensive research.

*Development Stage
Where the actual photography takes place either digitally or on film. Also the graphic design 
takes shape and works in close collaboration. Also we need to collaborate on the production 
of a 'Promo Video' its filming and editing. the design and photography software must be used in conjunction to create a group outcome of a high post - production.

*Implementation Stage
Where the actual work becomes 'live' on the website that he students create using the 
Blogger website. The photography/ design go onto the website along with the promo video 
we have made.

*Analysis Stage
Where we all have the ability of reflect on the effectiveness of not only individual work but 
that of other groups. This will take the form of linked blog sites, which can comment freely 
on each other’s work. This will allow ongoing tutor and peer feedback across the groups.
